'bout ready for christmas

yes, i've posted this piece before. but now it's framed and bout ready to give it to my aunt for xmas. i think it looks good. had a hard time finding the right frame.

and here's some more christmas gifts. just picked up these felt bags from starbucks and added the names.

well, it took awhile, but i finally finished. love the way it turned out! gotta find the perfect frame now!

not quite done...

but i finally finished the hardest part, the face. more specifically the mouth. took several tries. i remembered a pinup face tutorial on the Sublime Stitching Blog, and that helped a lot! simple but so hard to get right. i'm happy with the way it turned out.
:-) just finishing up the border. should be done tomorrow! i stopped working on it for a bit, but now i'm eager to finish!

this is what i'm working on now. a sweet horse and cowgirl pattern from Sew Lovely Embroidery. this is gonna be for my aunt nancy for christmas. oh, and i got the cute little pink w/polka dot embroidery tool case from sublime stitching. it's too cute!
