FRIDAY 13TH

Yes, another Friday the 13th. I like it. Gonna go get my 13 tattoo later at Elm St. Tattoo in Dallas. What will it be??? We shall see, I guess. Here's a couple I have gotten in the past.

I really love my lil peppermint! So much so that I might just get another. But that would be silly, wouldn't it? Any more silly that getting one in the first place??? Not so sure. (but hey, it's $20. not bad at all. that's $13 plus a $7 tip for luck)

ok, so i started my new project. a bag i ordered from sublime stitching. it's a bonnie rue design(who i just learned went to school with my good friend, jocelyn - cool!). it's a really cool design. thought i'd show a before pic. well, i did the lightning bolts already. :-) i think i'll do the cupcakes tonight. yum!

Yes, I got my package. What fun. I'm ready to start a couple projects, one for me, one for a gift for someone. But gotta get a little practice in. This is what I did last night.

Yeah, the pic's kinda dark. Took with cell phone. But look. I did that in a night. Cute, huh. Had to make myself stop after that though. Now I'm ready to get home and do more....but must do some laundry. This is just another thing to keep me from doing any of the things around the apt that I need to do. Haha. Always something...

getting stuffs in the mail

So I'm hoping I'll have a lil package from Sublime Stitching when I get home today. Fingers are crossed. I just recently took up embroidery and have been learning from Jenny Hart's Sublime Stitching. Really neat designs, and it's really easy to do. I like the cuteness and the sense of accomplishment. It's a fun way to use your time. For me, it is.
I made this lil masterpiece for my mom's birthday. I was quite proud. My first real project besides just messing around. (Designs from Sublime Stitching)

Fun, super cute, artsy-fartsy, hip stuff there, I tell ya. Check it! She has a show at the Yard Dog in Austin right about now. I'm gonna see if I can fit in a short trip to check all the stitching art in the show(runs through Dec. 6). Impressive stuffs, for sure!

Have a sit down, why don't ya? I may not have a lot to say, but there's stuff going on in this lil old head of mine. You just never know. I don't even know.
